These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clarion, operated by Clarion ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at goclarion.app. By creating an account or using Clarion, you agree to these Terms.
Clarion is an AI-assisted sales outreach platform. It helps you research prospect companies, identify contacts, and generate personalised email drafts using AI. All email drafts are placed in your Gmail Drafts folder for your review — Clarion never sends emails on your behalf without your explicit approval.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Clarion. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@goclarion.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
Clarion uses AI API keys that you provide (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) to perform research and generate email drafts. You are responsible for:
We store your API keys encrypted and use them solely to make AI calls on your behalf. We do not use your keys for any other purpose.
When you connect your Gmail account, you grant Clarion permission to read your inbox for reply detection and to create drafts in your Gmail Drafts folder. You can revoke this access at any time from your workspace settings or from your Google Account permissions page.
You remain solely responsible for the emails you send. Clarion generates drafts as suggestions — you review and send them. We are not responsible for the content of emails you choose to send.
You agree not to use Clarion to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your outreach complies with all applicable email laws in your jurisdiction and the recipient's jurisdiction, including but not limited to CAN-SPAM (USA), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU/UK). Clarion provides tools to assist compliance (unsubscribe links, suppression lists, sending windows) but cannot guarantee compliance on your behalf.
Clarion and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Clarion and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all content you provide to Clarion (workspace config, company data, email drafts). By using Clarion, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service.
Clarion is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.
AI-generated research and email drafts are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Clarion, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or damage to reputation resulting from emails sent using Clarion.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Clarion shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use Clarion ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Clarion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
